Solutions for production requirements
DELIM solutions are organised by production-enquiry stage: initial selection, sample evaluation and supply coordination. Each stage needs different inputs and does not replace the preceding one.
Inputs for a focused selection
Start with the finished product or assembly: its function, adjacent materials, working dimensions, installation method and production operations. Add a drawing, sketch, photographs, existing marking or a sample where available. Identify the parameters that cannot change, such as geometry, colour, finishing route, a required document, equipment compatibility or another agreed constraint. This description is not a specification, but it creates a sound basis for comparing options.
Evaluation in your process
Before testing, define an acceptance criterion: what will be checked, on which product, after which operations and how the result will be recorded. Where appropriate, assess the material or component together with adjacent parts, a seam, webbing, lining or equipment. A result from one sample or product does not automatically transfer to other colours, sizes or executions without a separate check.
