What to include in a technical enquiry

Do not confuse closed chain width with tape width: the manufacturer treats them as separate measurements. For a new product, attach a drawing of the assembly or a photo of the installation area, your preferred timing and whether you need a sample.

A matching colour or nominal number alone does not confirm compatibility. Final selection depends on the exact item and your product construction.

Replacement or new production

For a replacement, send photographs of both sides of the zipper, its marking and overall dimensions, plus separate photos of the slider and pull tab. Tell us whether you need the complete zipper, only the slider or only the pull tab.

For new production, specify the zipper type, closed chain width and tape width, nominal length, end type, opening method, colour and planned quantity. It is sensible to check the specific assembly in your product before series production.
