What to specify before ordering

Hook and loop. State whether you need both parts of the fastener or only one. For a replacement, add photos of the existing pair: a similar appearance does not confirm equivalent performance.

Installation. Say whether it will be sewn, bonded or installed another way. For an adhesive-backed request, specify the surface material. Availability of that version and its conditions of use are checked for the specific item.

Use. Add the width, contact length, colour and expected conditions, such as washing, moisture, dust and temperature. If you have requirements for holding force or the number of opening cycles, present them as requirements rather than confirmed product properties.

Frequently asked questions about VELCRO

I need only one side of the fastener. Is that possible?

State which side you need—hook or loop—and provide details of the existing part. Separate supply and pair compatibility must be confirmed.

Can any hook-and-loop fastener be bonded to fabric?

Do not select one without checking. The attachment method, substrate and use conditions must be agreed; sew-on and adhesive-backed versions are not automatically interchangeable.

Can a product with this fastener be washed?

Send the required wash conditions. We check the fastener and installation method against the documentation for the specific item.

Can I get a small quantity for testing?

Send an enquiry with the required length and width. A manager will separately confirm whether a sample or cut length is possible and how it is packaged.
