FLEX for freedom of movement
Brookwood FLEX MultiCam is a stretch fabric for trousers, hiking jackets, tactical and hunting apparel. Its plain-weave construction combines 91% nylon and 9% spandex with stretch along both fabric axes. Four-way describes the directions of stretch, not an elongation percentage; assess fit and shape recovery in a sample garment.
Colour selection
MultiCam combines green, brown and lighter areas within one camouflage print. Coordinate pattern orientation across adjacent garment panels. The prepared image is based on the official manufacturer swatch; it is an illustration, not a colour-approval standard.
Cuttable width for garment layouts
DELIM’s nominal listing uses 135 cm and 220 g/m²; the 135 cm figure does not mean 135 cm of cuttable material. The FFLEXW50 specification dated 30 October 2024 distinguishes the 53–54″ overall width (134.6–137.2 cm) from the 50″ cuttable width (127 cm). Use cuttable width to calculate material consumption. The specified 6–7 oz/yd² weight equals approximately 203–237 g/m²; confirm actual batch properties before a production order.
C0 DWR finish and garment manufacture
Brookwood Zero DWR is a water-repellent finish. Brookwood describes C0 as a finish without intentionally added PFAS. It does not establish waterproofness of a finished garment. The supplied specification gives no numeric hydrostatic, abrasion, strength or shrinkage results. Trial seam construction, processing and care on a sample first; standard FLEX 91/9 differs from Flex Ripstop 93/7.
