ALPHA VT4: construction and applications
ALPHA VT4 metal zipper: 26 ±1 mm tape width and 4.2 mm chain width. Garments made from denim and other fabrics; specifically recommended by the manufacturer for jeans. The 2018 standard slider reference is 173. Tape colour, slider and end configuration are separate ordering parameters.
Selecting the required execution
Tape width is the full textile width, while coil or tooth width refers to the closed chain. Specify the model, length, end configuration, tape colour and slider code. Equal nominal size does not guarantee slider compatibility between different series.
Colours and configuration availability
Select from the ALPHA colour card and a physical tape sample. The general manufacturer palette does not establish availability of every shade for every model. The 2018 catalogue data is identified by source date. Current website puller lists may differ; a manager will confirm the required combination. Select the shade using a physical sample, not a screen image alone.
Family decoration options
Catalogue tooth finishes: MOS brass; OKS oxide; PMS patinated brass; NFR nickel free; NIK nickel; PNK patinated nickel; ALU aluminium; MDZ copper; MBL polished brass; NBL polished nickel; CNK dark nickel; COX dark oxide. A finish code does not change the M63 base material or constitute a separate certificate. Decorative tapes: lurex 100040 green, 100050 gold, 100060 pink, 100070 blue, 100080 silver/white, 100090 red, 100110 silver/black. These are family options; confirm compatibility with the selected model when ordering. Denim tapes: 264NIE blue, 265BIA white.
Pullers and custom decoration
The catalogue describes laser engraving on CNK, SCN, OKS, PAT, NFR, MOS and MBL finishes, pad printing on plastic and metal, raised or recessed cast logos, plastic shapes 301/305/350 and flexible gel pullers. NOMEKS and SATYNA tapes are also shown at family level, without blanket model compatibility. Confirm compatibility, quantities and availability; the NOMEKS name alone does not certify the finished product as flame resistant.
